Booking terms

Prices

Prices are per person:

• Lion's Head: R1 100 per person (2 to 2.5 hours, Moderate)
• Platteklip Gorge: R1 500 per person (3 to 4 hours, Moderate to strenuous)
• Kasteelspoort via Diving Board: R1 500 per person (4 to 5 hours, Moderate)
• India Venster: R1 500 per person (3 to 4 hours, Challenging with scrambling)
• Devil's Peak: R1 500 per person (4 to 5 hours, Strenuous)
• Skeleton Gorge: R1 500 per person (4 to 5 hours, Moderate to strenuous)

Booking and payment

Message me with the hike and date you'd like. I'll confirm and send you a secure card payment link by WhatsApp or email. Full payment secures your spot.

Before the day

I'll send you the meeting point, start time and what to bring, plus a short indemnity form. Please complete the indemnity form before the day.

Weather

The mountain is exposed, and wind, rain and cloud can make routes unsafe. I make the call, usually the day before. If I cancel because of the weather, you can reschedule for free or get a full refund.

If you cancel

You get a full refund if you cancel up to 24 hours before the hike. Inside 24 hours, you can reschedule, but there's no refund.

Group size

A maximum of 8 guests per hike, and fewer on the scrambling routes. Private hikes are available on request.

Age limits

Children aged 12 and up are welcome with an adult. The scrambling routes are for ages 16 and up.

What's included

Your guide, a safety briefing, a first aid kit on the trail and photos of your hike, plus tea or coffee on sunrise hikes.

I can arrange transport from the CBD or Sea Point for up to 3 people, at an extra fee, ask Dan. Larger groups need to arrange their own transport.

What's excluded

Food, drinks and any cableway ticket aren't included.
